Our first Library classes of the year, and things went swimmingly! I am particularly impressed with our first and second graders, who will be reading a chapter book with me this year.

PreK/K reviewing our letter and number skills with different group activities. Play dough was definitely a hit!

1/2 doing some book "shopping" to fill our book boxes.

1/2 playing "Make a Ten" with partners in math!

Love notes from our families during Open House!

A day in the life of 3rd & 4th grade!

A little bit of fun with art on a steamy, hot afternoon!

5/6 and 3/4 teamed up for a game of kickball during our PE time this morning!

Guess the friend! 5/6 designed backpacks to represent who they are and hobbies they enjoy. Then we did a gallery walk to guess each friend.

Exploring "brain bins"and hanging out with new and old friends in 1/2! Our first week was a good one!

Nothing like a math challenge on a Friday afternoon!

Our magic thinking caps in 3/4!

Recess is for TWINNING!

First Day of PreK/K! 😁 Lots of fun making new friends and greeting old friends!

Grades 5 and 6 enjoyed a First Day getting-to-know-you activity after our Meet the Teachers interviews.

3/4 working on language skills playing Charades! So much fun!

3/4 students are working on a "Lost in the Woods" math escape room. 🙂

Students worked hard all month in Library to create their Book Walk of Deb Pilutti's "Old Rock (is not boring.)" Our Book Walk will be on display all summer for families to enjoy.

And now we're increasing the difficulty level of Logic Links...even Mrs. Engwer joined in the fun (or frustration!)..😁

3/4 working on logical thinking using Logic Links in math. It's tricky!
